My Story

About Daniel Flefil

I am a worldwide content creator, calisthenics coach, and entrepreneur based in Stockholm, Sweden. Over the past decade I have coached over 1,000 people around the world, organized some of the biggest calisthenics competitions globally, managed three world champions, and built platforms that have reached over one billion combined views.

Who I Am

Worldwide Content Creator & Calisthenics Coach

I am a worldwide content creator and calisthenics coach based in Stockholm, Sweden. Over the past decade I have built one of the most recognized brands in calisthenics and grown platforms that have collectively reached over a billion views. I came from a kickboxing background, started calisthenics in 2015, and have not stopped building since.

I coach at all levels through Calixpert, the platform I co-founded with my wife Malin Malle. My approach is direct: master the fundamentals, train progressively, and stay consistent. The advanced skills follow when the base is solid.

Beyond this, I have mastered how to create viral and engaging content across social media platforms. I have learned to build websites that people actually find. I organized two of the most recognized calisthenics competitions in the world, and I have managed three calisthenics world champions from zero audience to full-time athletes with global brands.

I'm obsessed with building things that last, whether that's an athlete's career, a business, or a piece of content that still gets views years later.

Self-taught in video, photography, and editing since 2016. I handle everything myself: tutorials, athlete interviews, the viral "Let Me Judge" series, and brand campaigns. The Journey

How I got here

2015

Finding Calisthenics

Met a friend named Dana Star who introduced me to calisthenics. I had competed in kickboxing before, but this was a completely different world. Started training at the calisthenics parks together with my wife Malin Malle and got completely hooked.

2015

Ninja Warrior Sweden

Applied to and competed in Ninja Warrior Sweden, placing around 11th. The show was broadcasted on Swedish national TV. This was one of the first times I performed in front of a large audience and it pushed me to take competition seriously.

2016

Gladiatorerna

Applied to and was selected for Gladiatorerna, Sweden's version of American Gladiators. Competing against top Swedish athletes on national television showed me what was possible when training meets performance on a public stage.

2016

Going All-In on Content

Decided to go all-in on social media with Malin Malle. Learned video recording, editing, and content creation from scratch. No courses, no shortcuts, just trial and error. Within two years it replaced my day job completely.

2017

Swedish Got Talent

Competed at Swedish Got Talent with my team Beast Bars. Our performance stood out and we made it through multiple rounds on national television in front of a massive Swedish audience.

2017

China's World Got Talent

The Swedish Got Talent performance earned us an invitation to compete at China's World Got Talent, bringing calisthenics in front of one of the largest TV audiences in the world for the first time in my career.

2017

Founding Beast of the Barz

Founded Beast of the Barz, an annual calisthenics competition held in Sweden. Over 5 seasons it grew into one of the most prestigious and well-known competitions in the world, pulling in top athletes from across the globe every year.

2018

Co-founding Kiroxpert

Co-founded Kiroxpert with chiropractor Niklas Andersson to build Sweden's biggest chiropractic Instagram channel. I handled everything behind the scenes: strategy, recording, and editing. The channel grew from zero to over 145,000 followers on Instagram and 24,000 on YouTube, becoming the largest Swedish-language chiropractic account on the platform.

2019

Launching Calixpert

Co-founded Calixpert with Malin Malle to give everyone real access to calisthenics coaching, not just people already strong, but true beginners with zero background. Over 1,000 people coached and counting.

2020

Building World Champions

Started managing and developing athletes from the ground up. Simon Imhauser and Daniel Hristov went from zero audience to calisthenics world champions and full-time athletes. Managing 2M+ followers across all channels.

2022

Calisthenics Cup at FIBO

Launched Calisthenics Cup at FIBO in Cologne, Germany, the world's largest fitness trade show. Now in its third consecutive year, the event features freestyle and endurance competitions with over €7,000 in prize money and athletes from across Europe.

Co-Founder

Calixpert

In 2019 I co-founded Calixpert together with my wife Malin Malle Jansson, 2x calisthenics world champion. Calixpert is an online calisthenics coaching platform built for anyone who wants to learn the sport the right way, from complete beginners with zero background to advanced athletes chasing elite-level skills.

Together we have coached over 1,000 people across the world. The platform cuts through the noise with structured progression, real technique feedback, and a method that builds the fundamentals first. The advanced skills follow naturally when the base is solid.

Calixpert is one of the most recognized calisthenics coaching platforms in Europe, and it is the place I point every single person who asks me how to start or take their training to the next level.

Kiroxpert

In 2018 I co-founded Kiroxpert together with chiropractor Niklas Andersson. Niklas brought the expertise and knowledge, I brought the strategy, production, and growth systems. My role was entirely behind the scenes: building the content strategy, recording, and editing every piece of content from day one.

Over five years we built Kiroxpert into the biggest Swedish-language chiropractic channel on Instagram, growing from zero to over 145,000 followers and 24,000 subscribers on YouTube. The channel was fully focused on the Swedish market, making complex chiropractic topics accessible to a broad audience through short, engaging content.

Kiroxpert is proof that the content framework I developed works across industries, not just sports. The same principles that grew my calisthenics platforms to a billion views translated directly into building Sweden's leading chiropractic media brand.

Content & Media

Creating content that moves millions

I went all-in on content in 2016 with no experience and no budget. I taught myself everything: filming, editing, scripting, thumbnails, and SEO. No courses, no shortcuts. Within two years the channels had replaced my day job.

I produce content for my own platforms, Malin Malle's channels, and Calixpert. I have also managed content strategy and production for the athletes I work with. Everything is made in-house. No agency has ever touched my videos.

The YouTube series “Let Me Judge” became one of the most-watched recurring formats in the calisthenics niche. I also run a long-form interview series with world-class athletes and have published 30+ technique tutorials that still drive consistent views.

Based on my own experience growing these platforms, I have also consulted other companies and brands on how to grow their social media accounts and drive more sales through strategic content creation.

Daniel Flefil's Work in Calisthenics, Content Creation and Athlete Development

11 Years of Calisthenics Expertise

Daniel started competing in calisthenics in 2015 after years training in kickboxing. What began as training at outdoor parks in Stockholm turned into a full-time career within two years. Over the following decade he accumulated over 1 billion views, coached more than 1,000 people, and grew three athletes from zero to full-time income in the sport. His tutorials on this site cover skills from calisthenics freestyle for beginners to advanced techniques like the hollowback, front lever, and planche.

Content Creation and Media

Daniel records, edits, and produces all content himself, including tutorials, equipment reviews, and interview series. His YouTube channel features tutorials and the viral Let Me Judge series, which reached a wide audience in the calisthenics niche. He has produced content for his own channels, for Calixpert, for Malin Malle's platforms, and for brand partnerships with companies including Gymshark, Red Bull, and Gornation.

Athlete Development

Three of the athletes Daniel has managed have reached world champion level. Simon Imhauser became heavyweight calisthenics world champion. Daniel Hristov has won four world titles. Malin Malle Jansson is a 2x world champion with over 1.3 million followers. Each started from zero, with Daniel building their social media, content strategy, and competitive career from the ground up.

Daniel has appeared on Ninja Warrior Sweden, Gladiatorerna, Swedish Got Talent, and China's World Got Talent. He founded Beast of the Barz and has organized the Calisthenics Cup for three consecutive years.
